Little things.
LITTLE THINGS.
Where do you get quality dresses? I say search for them in malls.
Where do you get tasty food? Well, I say KFC and McD are all available.
Where do you get peace of mind? And that's easy..just visit a temple nearby.
But ask me about satisfaction..... I will tell the answer at the end.
As for me, I don't search happiness in huge things. Little things are enough to make me smile.
Gifting me a phone, mum asks "satisfied?" and there comes an obvious 'yes!! '. This answer comes from my tongue not from the heart. Because I never looked forward for a costly gift. I always wanted their time. I expect a lunch together where we spend a little "us" time.
Taking me to a movie, my best friend asks "happy?". And I say 'yes' again half-heartedly. Because I always wanted to prattle with her throughout but not to sit numb beside her in a theatre.
A road-side panipuri make my eyes shine brighter compared to a pizza. A small diary-milk widens my lips compared to a silk. Few caring words are very worthy. And they are enough to lighten my day. Don't know whether these are my stupid musings or meaningful ones. But yes, I can confidently tell that I am a typical girl who admires earthy-scent when rain falls and loves the smell of benzene.
Asking your grandparents whether they are medicating themselves properly, enquiring your parents whether they are eating time to time, checking if your siblings need any company, asking your friends how was their day makes them really happy and satisfied.
These are very little things but they really do matter.
Previously whenever someone asked me 'what brings you happiness?', I couldn't answer. But now I can surely tell that "LITTLE THINGS MAKE ME HAPPY".
Beautiful
